Can you believe it's already the middle of August? This summer has absolutely flown by, hasn't it?
I'm wondering if you have any last-minute summer plans? Any vacations, day trips or relaxing time in the works?
I am enjoying a 4-day weekend. I took Thursday and Friday off for some much-needed R&R! My parents have been out of town, so my sister and I are taking care of the dogs. It's been a blast having them around all week. I've missed being around them every day.
Next weekend, I'm headed to Minnesota to see my Grandma who fell and broke her hip last weekend. It's been a rough week for my family, since we live in another state, but we'll get through it. I'm just happy I've had the chance to have a couple of days off work.
Wow, August has been crazy for me. At least I was the Guest DT here at Vintage Plum! It has been a bright spot in my month!

Our last summer "fling" was
Our last summer "fling" was last weekend when we went away to Virginia Beach. Now we're pretty much just hanging around being bored gearing up for back to school.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, Amy. I hope her recovery is smooth.

Not much going on
here now! We've pretty much had a nice relaxing summer, so I'm just trying to make stuff to sell on Etsy and hang out with the kids and husband as much as possible.

our summer is over! at least summer break is over! eli has been in school for a full week already, and my first day back in the classroom is Monday...yay. at least it's a language arts class, and not math or music!!
