Mini Kits And Classes?
I've seen a few places around that offer classes for mini albums and altered projects and sell the supplies that go with them. My question for you today is have you ever done this and what was your experience like? Does this kind of thing catch your interest? Better yet would like to see this done on VP? :)

And yes, I think mini kits are great....but, look who's talking: I LOVE MINI ALBUMS AND MINI KITS!!! LOL

i would LOVE new ideas for
my lss has offered a class on this before, but i've never done it...most things offered htere are super simple for beginners (not that i think i'm super experienced, but i'm def. not a novice!) i have seen online where you can buy the kits and take the class. that is VERY convenient. hmmm...i never noticed the cost, though. any idea? that's always the kicker for me.
i would LOVE new ideas for minis!! i actually stumbled on a tutorial the other day and have been making some pocket minis over the past couple of days. i really REALLY LOVE them, but always want to learn different techiques and unique ideas :) :)

Great idea! A mini kit/class would ROCK! I am a kit club addict and minis are my FAV! I tend to do more with the kit then use all the extra stuff for LOs... works great!

A lot of times i don't want to get a big 'ol kit and just want some fun embelishments. I personally have done little online classes and mini kits and I loved putting them together and loved making little projects to show folks what to do with them. And the feed back I got on them was very good.

I've taken a few classes through Big Picture Scrapbooking that I've loved and I've taught a bunch of them ...they are always fun!

I have only taken a class
I have only taken a class like this IRL with Ali Edwards back in Feb 2007. Our project was a "One Year" album that consisted of a box that holds 12 3x3 chipboard mini albums, one for each month. The fee covered all the supplies, including papers, an awesome Cats Life Press rubber stamp, chipboard letters, 7gypsies stickers, and of course - 3 hours with Ali. It was a great project and a good time. Here are some pics:
