Sorry I'm throwing this up so late everyone - between crazy birthday plans and my internet deciding it was against me yesterday (I tried telling it that it should be kind to me on my birthday but that didn't work for some reason), I'm running a bit behind!
My challenge to you this week is a fairly simple. Scrap your birthday. Just... not this year's birthday. I turned 24 yesterday and for some reason it feels so strange. Especially since most days I still feel like I just turned 17. I'm not against getting older, but it's so crazy how quickly time passes! It was easy to get bit lost in thought about birthdays before this one.
So let's take a little trip down memory lane. Scrap any of your birthdays except for the one this year, in 2009, no matter if it's passed already or not.
(I'll be sharing my page with you later on today - it was still drying when I woke up this morning. I know. I looked at it and all I could think was "seriously??")
Weekly Challenge Details:
Enter the contest by posting your project here.
During that entire week, all forum members will be able to vote for their favorites (you can vote for more than one) and the project that receives the most votes by Sunday at 8pm cst will be the winner of that challenge. The winner will have their name and project displayed in a special place.
We will also do a random drawing at the close of the contest and one lucky contestant will win a $5.00 gift certificate to be used toward a future kit purchase. Please note that there is only one entry per person for the drawing even if you entered more than one project.
We look forward to seeing what all of you come up with!

1st birthday I cut out an image of a bunny from a vintage children's book as a themed embellishment, since my 1st birthday was on Easter. |
