April Guest Designer Contest, March 10th-24th, 2009

Got Vintage?

In honor of  Vintage Plum, create a 12x12 layout that includes these two parts:
 1)  Vintage:  Use a vintage photo! If you don't have one you can edit one (hint...sepia)
 2)  Plum:  You must use something that represents royalty somewhere on your layout

Remember, you must use items from the March kit to complete this challenge.

Rules of our Monthly Guest Designer Contest:

1. One layout entry per person.

2. You must use the current month’s kit to complete the challenge.

3.  We ask that you not post the layout anywhere other than on Vintage Plum until after the challenge is over.

4. Your entry must be posted to eye candy (gallery) under the appropriate challenge by the 24th of that same month the kit releases.

5. You can only be chosen as a Guest Designer once every six months.

6. Sarah and I will pick the winner on the 25th of that same month and will notify the winner on that day.  You must respond to our email within 24 hours after we sent it to let us know that you accept the invitation to be our next monthly Guest Designer.  Once you accept, we will give you further details about your role and mail you you the following month’s kit for free!  Examples of your role will include making at least 3 layouts and 2 cards with the kit, creating blog posts, assisting with weekly and monthly challenges, assisting with tutorials, participating in the forum and posting questions of the day.

7.  The monthly Guest Designer will be announced on the 10th (the day the kit they are Guest Designing for is released.)
