Is everyone having a lovely Mother's Day?
I thought I would pop in to post this upcoming week's challenge. My challenge for you is easy peasy - just use up your scraps!
I save every tiny piece of paper left over from my creating. I keep them all in their own drawer so they don't get lost in the bigger pieces. I just can't bear the thought of throwing even the tiniest piece away.
So, let's use up some of those scraps! If you're playing along with the Plum Star Search, then you should have lots of little bits and pieces left over after this weeks challenge.
Use up those random bits cut off here and there, the negatives left after you use your punches, even the tiny circles from using your hole punch.
With my example, I used a ton of random paper strips to stack under my photo:

Enter the contest by posting your layout in the appropriate challenge gallery.
During that entire week, all forum members will be able to vote for their favorites (you can vote for more than one) and the project that receives the most votes by Sunday at 8pm cst will be the winner of that challenge. The winner will have their name and project displayed in a special place.
We will also do a random drawing at the close of the contest and one lucky contestant will win a $5.00 gift certificate to be used toward a future kit purchase. Please note that there is only one entry per person for the drawing even if you entered more than one project.
We look forward to seeing what all of you come up with!

SUPER CUTE!
I love your idea and your layout is awesome! How does everyone keep/organize their scraps?
I have my patterned paper scraps somewhat sorted in a 12X12 post album so I can stick each group of paper in a separate page protector and just flip through as I need scraps. My cardstock scraps are in a little sterilite container near my stamps so I can make cards quickly if needed.

Great challenge - I have the perfect layout of my mom and I!! I used a ton of scraps, cut into strips and arranged in the shape of a large circle. Then, using more scrap paper I cut out circles and used around the main circle as a border... http://eachmoment-onlyonce.blogspot.com/. Its under my Saturday posting - Title is "Friends".
